Brian Mallory is a 5th-generation Memphian. He grew up in Central Gardens in Midtown Memphis. After college, and while working downtown for AutoZone, he built a house at Harbor Town and lived at the Shrine Building in the Central Business District. Once married, East Memphis became home. Married to Michele Humphrey Mallory, owner of Two Pillars Yoga Studio in East Memphis, they have two teenage boys. He served as a board member of the Shelby County Board of Equalization from 2009-2011, which serves to examine, compare, and equalize the county property assessments by the Shelby County Tax Assessor and to provide citizens the opportunity to appeal and have a hearing regarding the assessed value of their property.
Brian is very active in the local Memphis Area Association of Realtors, having served for 3 years on the Grievance Board, and is now serving his 6th year on the Professional Standards Board. These boards are tasked with making sure that REALTORS® are acting in an ethical manner and are observing the REALTOR® Code of Ethics.
